Australia really does have the cutest wildlife. Of course, there’s the koala, which sleeps 22 hours a day because eucalyptus is toxic. But there are also the quokkas, which live in the west of the continent and always look like they’re smiling when they open their mouths. It was amazing to watch the bison in Yellowstone, a species that had nearly gone extinct in the 18th century with a population of just under 300 animals.
